Default Remapping

Hi guys.

Do I need to have a remap if I install a new up pipe?? One I have on now is blowing

As long as you are replacing like for like you will be fine.

If you are removing a cat and fitting a sports car or decat then yes, a tweak to the map would be sensible.

One at the moment has a flexi pipe in the middle which has cracked. Going to be changing for one that hasn't. Guy at garage said it would help with turbo spool due to something which I can't remember what he said.

I can't see that a flex pipe is going to make much different - Not enough to warrant a remap for sure.
