Default Exhaust for a NA Scoob

My 2003 3.0 Outback H6 , sounds slightly wheezy, and i have a suspicious

feeling its going to fail the MOT which is due shortly.

Looking around it would seem my options range from

SS hand built cat back system £600

Online pattern system £105

SS pattern system - £350 for the centre pipe

The hand built SS is as it says on the tin, but i'm not after anything flash, or modded so need to make sure the boxes don't sound too loud

The Online pattern sytsem is odd, the back boxes fit either a 2.5 or 3.0

system, but the centre pipe is only for 2.5 according to the company...

yet the piping fits a 3.0 back box?

The SS pattern centre is straightforward, but could cost me another packet for the rear boxes..

I could have a punt on the online pattern system, and even if it lasts a

year, i could afford to replace every year, before its not cost effective

Any ideas, or know anyone who does hand built steel or SS stuff

Mart
