Default Apexi ECU - Testing

Hi guys, I have bought an apexi power fc with the commander from ebay. This week should arrive.

Is there anything I could do to test it to see if it's working? because remap will be due next month after I get all the bits I need for it.

I spoke to the mapper I will go to about it, he said I can bring it around and he`ll have a look to make sure it the correct one. but he can only tell if is working when plugged in and mapped.

Thank you.

When u first plug it in u need to leave car running to get idle correction then turn a/c on for ten mins then turn heaters on full for ten so that ecu can set itself up U can keep it in after that provided u dont use boost till its mapped for your upgrades 😉

that's what i was thinking, first reset to base map and start it up. only thing is that from what i read base map is for jdm versions, meaning the inkectors set up will be for 440cc not 380 that i have.

But plugged in and if screen works should be fine i guess? any other ideas ? thanks.

This is the instruction manual.

It should help point you in the right direction. I'd leave it to your mapper to fit. It only takes five minutes.
