Just bought my first impreza and on the way home it was fine till it warmed up,but then when id boot it it would stutter or basically feel like ive just hit a wall and stall.the engine managment light would come on so id pull over turn it off leave it a minute then start it the eml light has gone off and car will drive fine for a minute or two then stutter and cut out etc?

im taking it to David coe a subaru specialist this week to get checked out,but any idea whats up exspensive or not?

Try cleaning the boost control solenoid located on the os inner wing with brake cleaner. Connect the 2 black and 2 green connectors under the dash to engage diagnostics. When you do this the fans will come on and the boost solenoid will click away when clean. If its not clicking after cleaning its cream crackerd.

just had it on the diagnostic machine and its the maf sensor

anyone know where i can get one ?

I was gonna say MAF as that sounded like an issue I had on mine a while ago.

Speak to one of the breakers on here, they normally have loads on the shelf.
