Default Boosting problem

Hi my 1996 series mcrae is having a boost problem I have done a flash test an rest the ecu a few times now I have changed knock sensor rest ecu changed maff rest ecu an now got fault code 45 map sensor which I have tried 3 on an rest ecu but car boosts to around 3500 to 4000 rpm then cuts boost as if in safety mode an still have code 45 could all 3 map sensors not work or is somethink else up thanks

Maybe the MAP sensor is just registering a higher than allowed reading - i.e. might not be faulty, might just be doing its job? Could there be something causing it to boost too much. Can't be the waste gate/boost solenoid as that's obviously working. Hmm..

U might b onto somethink as when I first pull off it boosts fine twice then won't boost properly from then on looks like iv got more investigating to do

No don't think it's missing but what could it be if it was as willing to try anythink to try sort it

You say boost cuts off at 3 to 4k? Cuts off like no boost at all or trys to boost periodically?

It's cutting the fuel due to too much boost pressure. Mine was doing this before, leaking vacuum lines were to blame.
