just a quick question and im sure I will get different points of view on this matter.

I looking to upgrade my turbo on my blob sti looking around all different types just wanted to find out what people would recommend ?

How much power do you want to make what's your plans?or is it just a refresh for the VF35?.SJ.

Looking to get about 400-450 but I no I'll want more later I know I'm going to need to look at engine rebuilds if I go above 400 but want a turbo that can handle that power and more if I wanted to or something to get me to 450ish I will Also upgrade the injectors and fuel pump soon.

There are many blob sti impreza's running 400+ On standard internals including my own,so that won't be a problem with supporting mods I.e injectors,front mount intercooler,air filter,fuel pump,3 inch exhaust etc... With the Finishing key being the turbo,but you need to get the balance right.You want the smallest size turbo that can generate the desired pressure for your bhp goal,as you want the power but with not to much lag,if it was me a scooby clinic SC42 billet would be my choice as I have driven a blob with one fitted and it was superb.SJ.

I have been looking at the turbo dynamics md555 any views on these ?

To be honest I don't know to much about That model of turbo having never driven with one or used one before maybe someone else can comment on it,but for the SC range of turbos. For me they are the ones to have,they do everything there suppose to do and well.SJ.

I'll have a look to see how much they are what size injectors would you think I should upgrade to?

850cc is what I would upgrade to for around the 400+ bhp with the potential for more if you decide to push the engine abit more the 850cc will be fine.SJ.

With injectors because of the price of them it does not make sense to just upgrade to say 650cc,that's what I done but when I wanted more power I had to spend out again for bigger injectors,so on thinking it would of been better to get a bigger size injector that could still be mapped comfortably at say 400 bhp but still have the capacity for 500 bhp if I wanted to without another change of injector size.SJ.
