Default Potential ESL tuning glitch?

Today I decided to tweak my boost levels a bit to achieve a smoother curve and I came across something interesting that I'd like to see if others have experienced.

While changing boost values in the Boost Target window I noticed that the ESL software would disconnect after I attempted to change a value. The square where I altered a value remained pink (which appears to be the processing value colour before it's actually applied). However after the ECU disconnected (on its own) I was unable to reconnect, at this point I have to reload ESL. Upon loading ESL and reading the ECU again the value I attempted to change did not take, so I tried again only to have the value not take and the ECU disconnect.

I tried this multiple ways, car running, only ignition on.

Also I'd like to mention that a few other values that I had changed previously did take and were loaded to the ECU no problem.

Any ideas? Software glitch? Anyone else experience this? Andy?

Sounds like you have some noise on your rx/tx or gnd lines, is your loom modified?

Switch connection type; Connection-Connection Type-Current Map, that should help clean it up.

Be sure to always start a new session on changing maps.

If you are after support, best to email service@enduringsolutions.com as I may not always see it on a forum.

Cheers.
