Default Garage in Norfolk too check and pamper my WRX import.

As title really, I've just bought myself a classic import WRX and am looking for a decent reliable garage to pamper and check the car over.

It's currently booked in for a checkup at AP Tuning but they openly admit they don't normally do Subarus.

Anyone recommend somewhere???

Cheers.

Norfolk is a big area Where abouts are you, that would narrow it down

Norwich, for a decent tuner though I'd be prepared to travel, a little bit, thus only saying Norfolk.

I know someone who lives in Yarmouth (unless hes gone back to Norwich way). If I can get hold of him I will let you know.
His name is Nick Lawrence, not sure as to how good he is but haven't heard anything bad and have heard others mention him

For general stuff i use postmill garage in wymondham, they have done brake changes and cambelts for me plus other bits and bobs and been spot on.

As mentioned clive atthowe has a good rep for tuning.

Clive knows his stuff. The main dealer will send a car his way if they're stumped!

He's pretty 'no nonsense' and will tell it to you like it is

it was Dan that looked after my car, they had it a week, changed water pump, cambelt, tensioners etc. oil seals, and gave it pretty much a clean bill of health. OK, it was expensive, but it's just unlucky all the servicable bits needed doing in one hit, hey ho !!

Would HIGHLY recomend them, and I'll be going back there for future work.

Hope this helps.

Steve

I only went there last week as my check engine light came on.

Both Dan and Clive were great and I will be going back there for my mapping.

For servicing and maintenance I use Tim Farmer who is an ex Zen mechanic. He is mobile which means he can come to my house. This is better for me as I don't live in Norwich.

I highly recommend both.
