Default Droplinks & qtr mile runs

I was told that if i was doing the qtr mile that its a idea to take a droplinks off (left rear, front right) to help with grip, only on the qtr mile though. Anyone heard this? Done this?

Ye i thought this, i guess its for when the car lifts at the start and at gear changes. I know mine lifts the front and squats at the rear on the qtr mile but im still running standard suspension, waiting on teins coming.
