Wide track driveshaft removal
I'm getting a pretty bad clunk coming from the front near side of my wide track blob. I thought initially drop links etc so that was changed along with ARB bushes and bottom ball joint, all other components checked and seemed ok, still getting a clunk! More looking revealed the outer CV joint is goosed, so to cut a long story short I've ordered 2 driveshafts, going to change o/s also as there was a small bit play in that also but nothing like the n/s. being a widetrack the driveshafts are the male type that go into the box, and not the roll pin female type on pre wide track. My question is this, how is the driveshaft held in place at the gearbox end, is it just a case of prying it out, or is there some kind of retaining device, circlip etc? Any help would be great
