It's unlikely that you would need a "better" spark plug. The standard spec' plug is very good. It's possible that you may need a "colder" plug, but that would depend on your cars state of tune.
We use a temp rating of "6" as standard, but if you are running more boost, it would be worth changing to a "7".
Unless you are running a "highly" tuned engine, these will be fine. Then you may benifit from a more expensive plug, such as an HKS (circa £60 a set), or one of the NGK racing range, but these are VERY expensive. My NGK's are about £40 each retail !!!!
You may be better off playing with the plug gap, if you are having any misfire problems.

Don't laugh, but about 4 years ago Max Power did a dyno comparison of various spark plugs (when the mag was more about tuning and uprating than t*ts and *ss).
They tested NGK, Bosch, Splitfire, various platinums etc etc. The motor was a modified Vauxhall GSi 2 litre, on a bench.
The result was that all the spark plugs, from Vauxhall OEM to Splitfire Triple Platinum, gave the same result within 2 bhp. With OEM plugs, the motor gave 180hp.
Just use the specified plugs and make sure they are gapped right.

I use NGK-R 7119-8
I doubt there would be very difference from one brand to another, if you are just using the equivalent type, and heat range, but a plug designed for running 1.1bar of boost giving say 276bhp stock, is unlikely to be good for an engine running let's say 1.5bar of boost, and 350bhp +.

I bet for the NGK PFR7B!
As I understand we have more or less the same climate conditions so a colder plug will be benefit, I am not sure about the plug gap, could someone help on this (0,7 may be)?

I have an MY99 and it has recently started to feel like it occasionally loses power intermittently especially when the rev range around 2000 rpm's.
When I am in third gear with the accelerator in the same position there is a noticeable feel that the car is momentarily hesitating?
I'm wondering if changing the plugs will sort the problem, as I'm sure they haven't been replaced for more than 15,000 miles after having looked at the service history that came with the car when I bought it recently.
I was quoted £60 for a set of NGK which seems a bit expensive compared to the £25 for the platinum core Bosch type.
At the end of the day does it really matter which type I should go for?
