Hi lads, ive been poking aroiund the engine bay recently (Uk spec MY00) and Ive got samco hosing on the intercooler, but the y-piece (underneath) is a metal of some sort with samco hosing at either end? is this normal, i always thought that samoc replaced the whole y-piece, but then any standard y-piece Ive seen has been grotty black rubber???

Cheers

The metal is an STi thing. Have a look at, err, MRT (this page in particular) & you'll find the alloy splitter thingy.

Thumbs up

Performance Subaru in Ireland do them too. It's part of the Prodrive PPP piping.

£165+VAT, but that includes all the hosing as well as the ally "Y"-piece.
