Not a recommendation, but Graham Goode Racing do them at lower cost than Scoobysport. Beware the delights of the "studs vs bolts" debate.
MRT do an excellent one with a flexi-joint that I'm looking to get to replace my "solid" one. After reading D T-S's problems with "solid" ones on Carolyns' STi I've checked my "solid" one, and hey, it is beiginning to chew at the gaskets.
From Yank land there are various opportunities, of varying quality, and generally higher cost than the UK options.

PS You only need the Scoobysport ECU fooling device to replace the downpipe, not the uppipe.

MRT= Middleton Rally Team. They are a bunch of Aussies who produce things for Scoobs down under, and tend to be way ahead of the UK and North America. There appears to be a marketing group with APS and Hyperflow whereby they push each others products. In general their kit is good quality at a reasonable price.
About US$300.
Downside? They refuse to deal direct on occassions, and this is one. Their UK importers (Scoobymania, Townend, JapInnovations) aren't willing/able to provide a price, so I may be forced to buy via the USA.

Obviously I didn't look hard enough (it was only a quick look ).
That is definitely the way to go, because it will also take up differences in flange alignment.
My own personal feeling is that the problem with the solid replacement up pipe is because it is bent. If it were a straight pipe, any expansion and contraction would only be end to end and wouldn't affect flange alignment.
With a bent pipe, when it heats up it tries to straighten, and this moves the flanges out of line. The expansion joint should cure this.

The pic isn't on the MRT site, so you'd need to spend a bit longer looking.
I'm not sure I agree that the joint is only really required because of the bend - I think it is also required to help with the change in length of the exhaust cf the turbo mounts which also causes the flanges to change angles as the complete exhaust is not in a straight line. Still, it will help with both!
FWIW, Vishnu Performance Systems in the USA produce an uppipe with support collars at the flanges that will reduce the risk of cracking, but will not take up the change in angles or the change in length. As it is a similar price I think I'll go with the MRT option.

If you've got the Scoobysport uppipe you can get a fix from them. Alternatively, if you are tight (it's my Scottish ancestry coming out again) you can get a less clever but seemingly effective fix from Pony Express in the USA (about $22 shipped). Its working on my car OK, but you never know!

PS It's OK, I've stopped writing to your Mrs!
