Hi guys

I'm having yet more bother with my w reg scooby, the gear box is completely nakkard now so need so source a replacement.


Oringally the engine was a non turbo however at some point someone has put a turbo lump in, there's no code on the nakkard gearbox, does anyone have any ideas which box I need to fit a version 2 turbo engine??

A 754 Turbo box with diff should sort you out.
You will need to change the rear diff too, as otherwise the new box will go pop again if you don't. It needs to ideally come with the new box you get.

BUT iirc the rear drive shafts may be different too, as the non turbo may have an open rear diff, and not a limited slip diff. So worth checking.

If in doubt get the box, diff, and shafts.
