Default Problems with auto

Hi all Just after some information on my classic auto scoob. Last weekend after driving i stopped and put it in park and turned it off. but as the engine stopped the car snatched when it was in park and it has done it a couple of times since. Any ideas? also today after driving 15 miles i parked up it did the ****** thing in park again but on the way home the auto box is slipping when it goes above 2nd gear? anyone with any info that could help me with this i would be very greatfull. Its a standard 93L wagon with 169000 kilometers on the clock. I have owned the car for a year and gave it a service when i got it. but i haven't changed any of the oils in the gearbox or diff.

Cheers Iwan

Just thought I'd chime in as I know this car,

Whether there is a link or not I don't know but thought it's worth mentioning that when turning in tight circles with this car you can hear/feel the rear tyres 'scratching' and almost sounds like it has a plated rear diff.
