Gearbox finally popped
Well, I've been living on borrowed time with the RA's standard box, and after a crunch and crumble sound, lost fith today. All other gears are fine, although it does make a bit of a noise.
Now, it's time for the six speed, but what is the best box to go for? Being the 1995 RA, it has the 180/3.9 rear diff, which I believe means its a basic box/prop/linkage swap. Is this true?
Any help would be great. I'd like to do this ASAP really. Car is 350bhp/335ftlb. Once the box is done, then there's no excuse not to go for a bigger turbo, but at a later date.
Thanks, MIT.

Sorry, i didn't make it very clear, you'll need to change the rear diff as its a different ratio. Do a search on here for more info as I cant remember what's needed. The front shafts on mine didn't need changed

Sorry, it is the 160, it's been a while since playing about with the car! I notice the price of the six speed has dropped. But don't want to buy stuff I don't need.
Is there a preferred jap box?
