Default Changing gear

Hi guys when I change from 6th to 5th it feels as if there's a block it sometimes won't go in if I give the throttle a little blip no problems on occasions it happens ion 3rd ,no problem changing up any ideas thanks .02 sti prodrive style

Have you checked the oil level ? If the oil level is Ok, it is the beginning of a synchromesh failure due to fair wear and tear, I expect. There are better synchro cones from the 2008 cars onwards. before it gets too bad and starts crunching on the way up or down the box I recommend getting it fixed.

What year model is the car ?

Durrrrrr never saw that. Thanks

It'll be the synchro on its way out then, we are doing loads of them this year, Synchro failure and centre diff failure.

any idea how much its likely to cost if it is syncro roughlt cheers
