CV joint boot clip problem
Anyone had problems with there cv joint? got an my05 blob Wrx. Well the cv boot decided to just slip off today, grease everywhere! :-(. Nothing wrong just not tight enough. They are the Subaru oem ones with 5mm clips. Any advice if there are better clips i can get? Tried metal tie raps from a local parts store which are rubbish.

You will need to clean all the grease up from round that area and re-pack the cv joint with moly grease, then make sure the rubber boot is nice and dry/grease free then you can buy cv boot clips to replace the broken one . Like this for eg
