Uprated TMIC
#4
What about in "real life" with heat soak and radiated heat whilst waiting at junctions etc. ?
I found a massive difference after fitting a front mount, spose if you had i/c spray on top mount it would be better.
Mine is not producing 345 anyway, its only a slow one.
Cheers all, MD.

Bob,
I appreciate FMIC must be best for serious Scoobies, but I only intend to run around 300bhp max, and never go on the track. So wouldn't a better TMIC be a more cost efective solution? What do you reckon?

Go for a front mount, far better option and far better results. David has water injection as well, with a front mount its not really needed ie same result without.

Answer is "yes" but the FMIC will enable you to achieve that with ease and a higher degree of safety. Uprated top mount is "ok" but without water injection still restricts. Don't think there is much in the cost except for labour.
