gearbox options
i will be pushing the power of my wrx blobeye to around 340ish bhp maybe more next year and i know my 5 speed will be on borrowed time,i dont launch my car and it will never go round a track infact it will hardly get driven hard at all as i only use it for work travel (4 miles each way) so its not even warmed up by the time i get there i will have a spirited drive on sundays tho
obviously i will stick with my 5 speed for as long as i can but IF it does go bang what options have i got?
rebuild my 5 speed to standard spec?
rebuild my 5 speed to a better spec? can this be done? if so how much roughly?
fit the 6 speed from a sti but that costs ££££
does a 5 speed from a classic fit? i see many type r imprezas running 380bhp and they were a 5 speed
any help would be great guys cheers

diff, gearbox, starter and clutch and flywheel and bearbox cradle i think
you can still use 5 speed clutch and flywheel but a six speed one is larger and can handle more power.
if your planning on upping the power with new turbos, etc and looking at gearboxes your better off just selling the wrx and buying an sti is it will be far cheaper and you will get a car that can easily handle more power
