Default Stronger axles for GC8(RWD converted)

I'm going to get my car RWD converted by welding the center diff(and later, getting a PPG rwd conversion kit)...I heard that the axles were extremely weak, what kind of axles should I get ? I'm going to drive it hard,so I need something strong.
Car is a '93 JDM WRX
Another thing - I'm not sure if the rear diff is an LSD,if not - I'm going to weld it...Is it weak as the axles ? I had a Miata with a Viscous LSD and I broke it after 10 skids...I don't want to brake scooby's diff...

you should uprate the rear diff to a v3/4 sti r180 unit. You can also modify the crossmember for a silvia r200, which will take whatever you toss at it.

So,the best thing(and cheapest) to do is get an S14 rear diff with the S14 axles ? Will the driveshaft fit ?
And how does my WRX gearbox feel about drifting and ~300 rwhp ?
