Funny your just asking now as am on getting it sorted.....nothing to worry about the diff guard it's just the brackets need making bigger.....am on getting mine made big enough to drop lower than I would as I've fitted the hawk diffuser........yes mate it's a easy fix if you can get the brackets made for you as my mate is doing mine at his work.....I will let you know how I get on as they should be done this wk ;0)

I needed to drop the height of the diff guard to make it visible as I've fitted a hawkeye diffuser so the rear bracket is a lowering idea....as is the front made longer.......the other thing to do for the back 1 is to cut it and weld abit on to make it longer for the distance it brings the guard off the diff......does that help?

I have no rear brackets at all and the longer bracket (the black one in your pic) is for the smaller diff and not the sti R180. So I just need brackets for standard fitment on the newage sti

Tbh looking at it if you had a L shape bit of metal....then a single piece welded on a angle to its face then you could make that work IMO
