Don't go too light as it makes the car harder to get off the line during normal driving; it will bog down or even stall unless you keep the revs up as there's too little inertia, hence you tend to slip the clutch a bit more with higher revs when pulling away in traffic.

I also replaced my standard heavy flywheel, with a 7kg Fidanza lightweight flywheel when putting in a Excedy pink clutch in my V5 sti wagon, and have noticed no problems stalling, but gear changes are quicker and car feels alot smoother. I did skim at work ( I'm a cnc machinist) my old sti flywheel from 14kg down to around 11kg so its soon on fleabay lol

We do these ones which seem ideal and are very popular: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...l-5-speed.html or as a complete package: http://www.superhids.co.uk/clutches-...a-5-speed.html
Can supply even lighter versions, but they take a little longer to get used to.
One of the best upgrades you can do IMHO.
