Default Hawkeye STI UK DCCD noises

Hi Guys ,

Im in process of trying to find a tidy hawkeye STi 06/07 and wondered if they all have the noise from DCCD when going round corners etc slowly ? A couple ive been looking at the owners have told me its a common / normal thing for them but just checking to get extra advice !! Cheers

Slow speed they do make a bit of noise but anything over 1st gear sort of speeds and shouldnt be any noises.

A 3 point turn can be quite a noisy experience, switching to open diff ( lowest green light setting ) makes it a little quieter.

To check, switch to manual, move dial all the way back to the bottom green, do low speed manoeuvres to the left/right/back and forward.
If it's making a noise there then that isn't good, it should be perfectly quiet, on auto it doesn't always go fully open, hence you hear the diffs wind up.

1 click on the handbrake should be all it takes to set it 'open', great for low speed manouvering
