1st ive got a 02 sti type uk bugeye,bought it as a shell for a project,ive used the 5 speed box diff ect out of my classic.the problem is cant get the speedo to work and it goes into safe mode with fault code 500 on my scaner,which is speedo sensor.ive changed the sensor and speedo head but still not working,starting to do my head in now can any one help

 

Maybe the classic sensor is incompatible with the newage ECU/dash??

 

ive got the same problem mate with my bug import i changed both sensors and its still doing the same so i hope mine is the kph-mph sensor
