Default Peoples opinions to converting a classic Impreza turbo to rear wheel drive?

Got my gearbox out and thinking should i convert to rear wheel drive?

Does anyone know exactly what has to be done to the gearbox internals to do this modification?

I know probably go through lots of rear tyres and diffs but hey, fun factor.....

There are kits available from a company called SAKER based in the nederlands i think. I met them at Spa running single seat chassis, with subaru running gear.

There are alternatives and I believe Rowleys garage in cullompton devon may be worth speaking too.

Any web links?

Is it not just a case of losing the front diff and welding centre diff?

You can weld the centre diff and remove front shafts.
