Question

Hello

I've got a 2000MY Impreza Turbo. Looking at uprgrading the standard backbox to a WRSport single pipe?

Are these any good? looks, sound, performance?

I had a WRSport oval exhaust until recently. Well worth getting although see if you can pick one up through the For Sale pages on here (should be about £175 as opposed to £350 odd new). I sold mine recently because I got a PPP one instead.

Noise wise, not intrusive just makes the sort of noise the car should make!. Performance wise, not sure but I liked to think so. Looks wise, nice. Also, it's a Prodrive part if you're worried about warranty issues.

I have the WRSport box and am very happy with it indeed. Replaced my Scoobysport one with it as it was too loud for me. Lovely rumble and build quality is exceptional.

Wink

Steve
I will send it honest!!
Only just got back from Operation Certain Death - far too disorganised to get it away to you before I left, sorry!!

Hope you're "enjoying" the exhaust. Thanks for the tip off for that chap selling MY99 ECUs by the way; bought one, fitted it, still amazed at the difference!

PS. I can't recommend Kabul as a holiday destination...

Simon.

Good news about the ECU, what model did you get AE800 or 801?

Yep the exhaust is still cool, the car sounds like a proper impreza now!

Glad you got back to Blighty safely.

Regards
Steve

Thumbs up

Steve

I got an AE801 as he was all out of 800s. I'm getting a RR done on the 27th at PE and will compare it to the one I had done there in Aug last year. Should be interesting
Very noticable difference when driving though

Ali,

why did you change your WRbackbox for a TSL one?
