Gearbox types that are the same as TY752VB3CA
hi all bought a scooby wagon turbo, the gearbox has gone bang by looks of it, having trouble trying to find one at the moment.
Does anyone know of any same code gearboxes, subaru gearboxes with a different number that will fit please?
My gearbox number is: TY752VB3CA
Its a (94) M WRX Wagon Import
any help greatly appreciated
thanks andy

Thanks Wild. Most advice I've received agrees with you but just to confuse me a couple of dismantlers have said it's not that easy!
So let me get this right ... you say that as long as I get a 4.111 TY752VW box it'll be ok?
Also does it make difference if push or pull clutch? (Seems since it's 1994 1.8 litre non-turbo that it'll be a Push clutch from what I've gleaned.)
Cheers

As long as the diff ratio is the same then it wont cause any problems but it will matter whether or not it is a push or pull clutch, The Turbo Impreza uses a pull type clutch I'm afraid, I should of cross referenced your box number before answering, Sorry

Thanks for this (what a relief!). Mine's a non-turbo 1.8 litre Legacy wagon ... I'll get clutch checked then should be able to find something relatively easily. Cheers.
