only one electrical connection for backlight?

i am just fitting a racetech boost gauge, and have noticed only one connector for the backlight?

also, do i just connect a switched live to it i.e. when the ignition is on, the gauge is backlit?

You could connect a feed which is powered when the lights are switched on and then it will only light up then.

Either way should work, depends on which you want Presumably, the body has to be connected to the chassis/earth somewhere for this to work though.....

thanks mate
i havent connected the light yet, will do it tomorrow, and yes ill use a wire that is live when the lights are on.
there is no obvious connection for an earth, so ill attach one onto the mounting bolt.
