hi,
just bought a racetech boost gauge today, just wanted to check that the hose should be plumbed into the er...other hose that runs from the boost solenoid to the actuator?

thanks

I'm not sure on the Legacy but I would say not!!! There should be a hose running from the manifold to somewhere near the drivers side suspension strut top. If you T into this, that will probably be OK.

But like I said, I'm not that sure about Legacy's but the Turbo nipple to t-piece and Actuator is not the "Boost" but the mechanism by which boost is controlled.

got ya! the actuator one is where my bleed valve is!
i think ive found the correct one, runs from the inlet manifold (next to the dump valve operation hose) and then up to the boost solenoid on the drivers side inner wing?

ian

p.s. the engine is the same as the impreza one.

Just take it off any pipe on the inlet manifold, eg...dump valve, MAP sensor pipe. If you tee into the actuator line there is a possibility of a false reading.

...and you'll know if you've got the Actuator line 'cos the gauge will go mental when you come on boost
