I have used blitz SBC, and the DSBC ( SBC no longer available though )
They are both very good, easy to use, and do a good job of controlling boost. Much better than any crappy pneumatic bleed type device. I believe the new Blitz should be very good, being a REAL closed loop control, ie. you ask it for 1 bar, and it constantly monitors to give you 1 bar ALL the time. I think the Apexi AVC R thing is a REAL closed loop too, but not sure. HKS are too bloody expensive. Buy the blitz, you wont be dissappointed.

Ustolemyname??stevieturbo,
I too have the Blitz DSBC and is as you say. I want to know, is there any way I can bring the boost down at higher revs. I use my channel 3 which is set on 60 and my gain is on 22. This gives me 1.2kgcm2 but holds it all the way to the red line. Since you have used it, have you experimented with it? Is there a way of setting it up to bring the boost a little lower up top? Does the DSBC also have the REAL closed loop control or is it only the new one?
Cheers,
Wrexy.

I agree with James - the Apexi AVC-R does exactly what it claims to do. It holds the boost you ask for (apart from the top end where my TD04 runs out of puff), can be set for different targets for different gears and rpm points, and displays various useful data (such as injector duty cycle - vital to avoid running past the capability of the fuel system).

U cant actually alter the boost curve to change thru revs with the DSBC. Not sure about the new blitz. I would like to have a go with the Apexi boost controller as it does sound like a pretty cool device, which does allow various boost settings throughout the revs, tho not quite as discreet as the blitz, for those who dont like huge illuminous blue displays in their car!!.
