I'm having a custom made twin exit (two 4' back box's) stainless system made up in the morning. Couldn't wait so I had a play with Photoshop. I'll post the real pics tommorrow.
Has anyone else had this done? Results?

There is a fella at Scoobysport who has a twin pipe set up on his RA, I dont know what the performance changes are but it sounds bloody luverly
I would think that it would have a slightly negative effect, but that is academic if it still drives "right"
Best of luck and let us know how it goes, MD.

He was gonna use the same size tubing as standard but asked him to reduce it by 1/2' after the split thus maintaining some back pressure.

WOW... My god I've never heard anything like it in my life. Sounds very much like a TVR but better. The only words to describe it is BIG LOW DEEP and RUMBLEY. I took some quick snap's as soon as I got home, but beleive me it ain't what it looks like... It's how it sounds. It also feels more resposive on initial pull away but I'll get it on the dino soon to confirm this. Oh and it pop's when coasting. mmmmm.
As you can see I went for 3" tailepipes in the end. I thought the 4's were a bit too much.

Dare I say £340. But Like I said it's also the entire center section including de-cat.
If anyone see's me at the BIG ONE and my wife is within ear shot, it cost £80 OK.

danyboyturbo - brilliant idea, who said less is more! I'm sure we'd all love to hear a .WAV file of the beast....any change or recording it ?
PS, do you still get the 'burble' affect ?

No you are right. I have since noticed they are too low down but I had to have them this far down because the right hand side pipe had the spare wheel well in the way. I can live with it cos you dont notice it unless you squat down behind it (how I took the pic). But there are some options to concider.
A) **** the spare wheel well a few times with a hammer.
B) Add a plastic trim across the whole width of the back bumper.
C) Paint the boxes black to stop them standing out so much.

http://www.powerandperformance.co.uk S**t web site but he is a top bloke with a very good work shop. He just started his buisiness last month and is an ex rod and custom car builder.
He even offers while u wait service. I originally went to him just to get mine de-catted. He was gonna do this for £50 which is bloody good as the only other option is to by a Magnex decat section for £60 and fit it myself.

Pics look good, I listened to the sound link but I too am on a laptop at the moment...but I can "imagine" the sound
LOL re the wife £80 comment, I also have this problem...my FMIC cost £120 when she is around
Cheers, MD.

Funnily enough I'd already done one but I done it on the in built mic on my laptop and sounds really crap. Might sound better on a normal PC.

The laptop was sitting on the passenger seat by the way. And as for the "burble effect" I assume your're talking about the moment when you let off the gas and coast along in gear? If yes then this is my favourite bit It rumbles very deeply then pop's a few times.
If you're going to the BIG ONE look me up cos it really needs to be heard to be believed?
