Had a big puff of white smoke from my exhaust this morning

Should I be worried

From my experience white smoke is a water issue. Oil burns blue.

Yep I agree, oil burns blue and water gives off white. I remember this from when my Pug 205's head gasket went and plumes of white smoke came out the back.

I then filled the empty coolant tank with water whilst the engine was running and the water just came out the exhaust !

Sure it wasn't the normal moisture build up type scenario when the engine's started cold?
