Default Beatrush Diff Brace

Just a quickie question

Has anyone fitted a Beatrush Diff Brace(not lock out)

The Aluminium one that bolts to the rear of the crossmember.

If so how much did it help diff slop and was there any noise vibration through the car after install

Thanks

Stroker

I have them on all my scoobs classic and newage locks the rear out tight and does increase drivetrain noise on over run

Used with subframe lock bolts and solid engine and gearbox mounts including the pitchstopper massively reduces movement of the drivetrain. Wouldn't own a scoob without doing this IMHO

If you want pics let me know

^ Oh ok, if it's that one then I wouldn't bother tbh All it's doing is bracing the subframe some more which is gonna provide limited help on a road car tbh.

Hi guys,

Digging up an old one here!! But thought it would be worth it as believe at least 53 is still on the forum and maybe able to help.

I've been looking at uprated diff mounts for my UK classic but have seen it's a bitch of a job, so these Beatrush supports seem the ideal and easy option to get a backlash free drivetrain. I already have Hardrace engine mounts/gearbox mounts so this would finish it off nicely.

Question is, does anyone other than Beatrush do a version of this and is there anywhere in the UK I can buy one from? I've googled it but can't find anything other than Beatrush and from the US, which is odd as I'd of thought this would be a popular mod.

Cheers guys,

Don cheers for the Japan Parts link, thats much cheaper than anywhere else! Approx £90 posted, problem is I'm not sure if I'll get any customs charges.

2pot - so someone other than Beatrush does make them! Though that page was last commented on over a year ago so not sure if the guy is still doing them?

They were for newage subframes IIRC If you're unlucky you will pay about 30% on the price in Japan plus UK handling and of course the shipping The last one I bought with a big box of other parts cost me £125 IIRC I paid about £200 in duty !

From my experience most items now get hit with charges.
Expect to pay about £120 all in after Import VAT and Parcelforce Admin charge.

Cheers guys! I'm not sure why these and uprated engine mounts aren't a lot more popular on Imprezas, my cars near standard power wise but I still found the original engine mounts/gearbox mounts to allow far too much movement and a nasty thump on gearchanges at high revs, the Hardrace kit made a big difference and this brace should cure the rest.

Hi guys, may have found the best deal for this now, I contacted a company called Prolex UK, a Lexus specialist as found an old post on a Subaru forum saying they supplied Beatrush parts.. they came back to me with a price of £100 delivered :-) which sounds pretty good to me considering I won't have to worry about the import charges.

Hi Jedi,

Not a fan of group buys as they never seem to work out, take ages to organise and people always back out at the last minute, too much hassle especially given that for a £100 product I doubt we'd save more than a tenner anyway.

Here's the guys contact details if you want one

Office/Fax 02083101707

I've been dealing with a chap called Dave.

That's a proper bargain mate It's the import charges and delivery which really bump up the cost !

Check it's the right brace as it's listed on their site as £150.

Interesting.. looks like we do have a deal then! I'm sure it's the right brace as said it was GC8 and sent him the proper Beatrush picture as per Don Clarks link to avoid any mistake.

SJ if you speak to him this afternoon let us know how you get on, may be worth saying you've noticed it's £150 on his site.
