Default uk specification gearbox type identification

Hi all,
Hope you guys can help, in my V-Storm WR3 www.sdrsportscars.co.uk.
I have a 1996 555 sti ra version 2 gearbox type
JDM Impreza WRX & WRX STi Ver.II MY96TY752VB4AA3.4542.0621.4481.0880.8253.4161.0004 .111Viscous (4kgf)Open(also STi 555 & WRX V-Limited Ver.II MY96)
TY752VB4AA 4.11 FD top speed is 112 at max rpm tyre size 205/40/zr17 need to fit gearbox with higher final drive. I convert it to 2wd so dont have to worry about matching a rear diff I had a look on the SPDA gearbox list but some versions dont appear or it dosnt have the spec listed. I beleive if I am correct jap import version have a 1 to 1 step down ratio in the transfer and the Uk models 1 to 1.1 i believe this type will give me higher gearing as the car only weighs 740kg i need longer gears as it hits the redline well quick 1st is a waste of time as soon as you hit the loud pedal it hits the red line and you have to change gear. I am looking at a gearbox type hl-ty754vn1aa and is supposed to be from a 1999 uk turbo. but I cant find this on the spec sheets, and want to make sure its the right thing for me,any other info gearbox type numbers would be useful so i can keep my eye out for the right type.

I believe as I lock the transfer and mainshafts together to make it 2 wheel drive it should give me a a new final drive ratio of about 3.5 high top speed 160 ish. Im sure theres someone out there who can point me in the right direction and whos cleverer than me it would be appreciated or who has a good suitable gearbox for sale also going to put a clutch in at the same time any recommendations ?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Simon

also a 4.11 fd should go faster than 112, thats the limited speed of jap cars. the t754vn1aa hasa 4.44 fd so will have lower top speed.

check this tho....http://www.northursalia.com/techdocs...rannychart.pdf
