Default gearbox+diff oils

hi all i have a 1995 type ra n im about to put a new gear box n diff in out of a 1996 type ra and i was wondering what oil they both take and how much???? any ideas???

just done my 99 and i went for millers semi synthetic 75/90. youl need 5 ltrs. 0.8 for rear diff n 4 ltrs for the gearbox. prob best with fully synthetic if u do track days though

depends on whether you have a plated lsd on the rear, just did mine, semi-syn 75w90 for box and castrol B373 lsd oil for rear diff

75w-90 Gear oil

Some good ones for a Subaru there. The Syntrax is always popular with Subarus and cheap at the moment, but the Millers CRX NT, Silkolene Syn 5 and Motul Gear 300 are higher spec oils.

For the diff, either use the Syn 5 or BOA90LS

Silkolene Gear Oil, Silkolene Final Drive Oil, Silkolene ATF & MTFs

cheers - kinda answers my post too

Front diff, gearbox and centre diff all share fluid yes? (car is no where near to have a look!)
