That's one fat torque curve ! I'm booked in for the Tek2 on Thursday evening. I'll post my maps on Friday if I can figure out the upload thingy.

Andy.

From a boost gauge..... I have somewhere between 15.5 to 16 PSI held.

I will confirm this when I get hold of the new Ecutek software and test the car.

What is the spec of your car?

Was this the 'driveablility' upgrade (Tek1) or the 'performance' upgrade? (Tek2)

If it was the Tek2 - were you running Tek1 beforehand?

Car is a MY00 with S.S downpipe, Magnex centre and backbox. No other engine mods. Car was running on Super Unleaded for the rolling road.

Car had an AE802 standard ECU to start, and then was upgraded to the Tek2

J,

Car was running on Super Unleaded for the rolling road.

You are intending to carry on using Super when driving the car, aren't you ?

Thanks

Gavin

Hi Gavin,

Yep I've used Optimax (98.5) for the last 4 months rather than Super (97).

However I beleive that one of the maps on the ECU is for 95Octance unleaded and is used when the car senses to much knock.

Stephen can you confirm?

Thanks

J
