Question

Can anyone who has replaced their Lambda sensor give me an idea of how much I'll be looking at?

I understand that Halfords do a replacement as well?

Also, someone mentioned that they had replaced the standard Lambda sensor with a "wide band" Bosch version? Any benefits to this?

Thanks in advance!

our cars do not support wide band lambda sensor without upgraded ecus such as motecs with the option, and pectels etc.

There is a pseudo wideband lambda sensor, but all this has is internal temperature compensation.

This is known as the Bosch LSM 11 and can be had for about £110.

It is also supposed to be a bit tougher than the standard sensor which as stated is normally £90. I would be against buying one of these from a breakers yard as I have seen suggested in other threads.
