4 paddle cluches
are they drivable
i've got one to fit.
its a 4 paddle clutch, still sprung in the centre
i wanted to keep drivability but will hold when you put power down.
tryed organic, & kept killing them.
read a resent post, but hear if there sprung there more drivable???
should i get rid, or will this be a good choice

i'm in the same boat as you mate. exedy 3 paddle thick plate and heavily sprung. i heard that it's the springs that stop the 'chatter'. You can probably ride/slip the clutch but this will end up shortening the life of the friction plate and will probably damage the flywheel also, you will also need plenty of revs. But how do you reverse or parallel park without riding the clutch or by using high revs?

i throught this my self.
i wanted to get a drivable uprated clutch
& was toldthese paddle clutches are better.
but the more i look around, the more i find there not for me.
know if you aboth 350 bhp, then you really have no choice. unless you have the money for a double clutch say
quess i'll just sell mine, & get a good organic one instead
if i dont do any power runs, it should last abit

ive used these 4 paddle clutches before, and are good
i know some people have had probs with there organic clutches before (tecniclutch). but there paddle clutches are ok. but on a scoob with just over 300bhp, i dont know.
i think there just too much for mine, but for a higher bhp car. should be better as theres more torque
at least thats how it was exsplained to me.
used one on a 400+ corsa before, that did eat clutches. till a paddle clutch was fitted
i guess, i'll give some one a deal on this kit, & get an exady clutch that can handle 330bhp will do for me.
