Question

First started when accelerating very hard on tight left-hand bends in low gear (like turning left into a fast moving stream of traffic and accelerating hard up to speed. Has gradually got worse and now obvious on fast left-hand bends bit still only when accelerating hard. Sound comes from o/s front and sounds like clutch slip - a sort of constant graunching - quite loud and very expensive sounding. Doesn't sound like the hub (bearings or c/v joint) and there's no sign of anything rubbing and no play in the wheel bearings, and the pads are not pushed back. Anyone have any ideas?

Graham
