Anyone using a ACT clutch
thinking of getting either the 6 puck or organic plate one
6 puck holds alot more tq but how friendly is it?
organic holds around 430lbft but should be more useable
if the 6 puck is user friendly i'd prefer that for my goals
Any experience welcome

I have a six puck in one car. It handles the torque but is a bit harsh and it had some judder on take up.
I have used several other ACT clutches and I sell their PROLITE and STREETLITE flywheels. Works of art and very good value for money.
The problem with the clutches is that if you have a warranty return all the incentive for buying from the US goes down the plug hole and you are well out of pocket.

Thanks Harvey
I have found one from states that really is cheap compared to the AP, Exedy clutches here.
Are they worth a punt mate? im not going 6 puck but the organic. im not bothered about the harshness of the 6 puck but my wife(driving 3 month old) has access to car
thanks again for input mate

It depends if you are a gambler for the reasons explained above.
I have run the HD organic too. No problem holding the torque. Pretty good but after a time the judder and heavy clutch are a little irksome and I suspect even more so for your wife. The judder really peed me of and was why I changed it in the end.
