i bught this car yesterday knowing the starter motor was fualty. so tried to start the car up 2day and it wouldn't start, so i lightly tap the starter motor it started up first turn . so i jamp into the car tried to put it in drive it will not go all i hear is some clicking noise comming from what i think is a realey on the ignition baarrel
any 1 with ideas please really gutted

Do you know any of its history , like was it towed due to being a non starter ?

hi there no i don't know if its had been towed as a non starter but i know its had a new box 1000 miles ago. i've managed to get the car out of park by pressing one of the buttons on the box releases it manually. when i retry the normal way it starts clicking..

it only doses it when i take the key out and then try...

i am thinking its something to do with that switch or relay next to ignition barrel??

i have jusst found out my brake llightS are not working thinking could it be

brake light switch???

i AM GOING TO CHECK ALL FUSES TOMORROW
