Default Clutch pedal sticking on '93 WRX

Really annoying problem... My clutch pedal intermitantly "sticks" about an inch from the top when changing gear. It doesn't seem to make the clutch slip, but it can't be good for it! I have to flick the pedal the rest of the way up with my foot...
Has anyone else had this problem?

I have exactly the same problem on my '93 WRX, so will be interested to see what is causing it.

Check the spring on the pedal, also there is a return spring on the clutch arm.

When mine used to stick, also on a 93 wrx, it was the pedal spring that needed fiddling with

Had the same problem a while back too on my 96 UK turbo, fixed it by taking off the whole pedal cage, giving all the springs, pins and so on a good clean, applying some good quality grease in the right places then reassembling.

I had the same problem a month or so back. if you have not sorted it yet i expect it will be the slave cylinder seals leaking slightly i fitted a new cylinder and a goodridge hose at the same time all sorted now. did take some bleeding though.
