Default drifting a impreza

hi,
i dont know if anybody out there can help but id like to know if its possible to change a classic wrx wagon into rear wheel drive only.i know its not the dun thing with imprezas but why go with the masses,a impreza wagon drifting would be different.

there are several ways.

weld up rear diff and remove front drive shaft.
or
find a rear diff that is rwd only, i believe a rx7 or something fits.

however it has been done but the rear drive shafts are weak and do snap because of the strain. i was thinknig of doing it

It would be cool as ****. You'd need powaz though.

There used to be a E36 touring that competed in EDC, that was cool to watch going sideways.

i can get new drive shafts and prop shafts made up for the rear but if i took the front shafts out would all the power go to the rear or does the box split the power 50/50.all my mates say im mad.just go out and get rear wheel drive car but ***** to them if it can be dun im going to do it.
