Question

My clutch is finally givin' up the ghost and im looking at various options. Probably gonna go for an AP organic, the only problem is it quotes it as 230mm (which all the later cars are anyway) but mine is a MY93 WRX and as such has a 225mm clutch. I was told that this isn't a problem and this would fit.

Has anybody fitted this to an early car, any problems encountered etc.?

Cheers,

Tony.

P.s is the flywheel the same on early cars as MY97 onwards?

Dunno if the 93WRX is the same clutch as a UK94, but I had a Ceremetalic AP Sprung paddle clutch fitted.

Bit of a B@st@rd in traffic as it was VERY on / off. But whilst I sprinted and Hillclimbed it was very good and withstood standing starts at 5500RPM without any clutch slip. (Shame the gearbox didn't last as well )

Cheers m8,

As far as im aware the early uk clutch was 225mm too, sounds like it should be ok then .

Did you have anythin' done to your flywheel when you had the clutch fitted?

Tony.
