I have been advised that my UK 04 Turbo with PPP will take 320bhp but the first thing to pop will be the gearbox. At that level is it worth putting in a different set of cogs or take a chance?

 

I think its safe to say that the gearbox you have assuming it's a 5 speed it should be ok for 350BHP if it doesn't then i think you'll be one of the unfortunate ones. As a lot of guys are even running more than this.

The people who have advised you obviously don't know much about scoobs i think, as it was the earlier 5 speed gearboxes i.e. 1998 and before that would begin to suffer at the 350bhp mark.

So get modding and stop worrying about the box bud.
