Default JDM v UK Classic gear ratio question

I currently have a TY754 VN box fitted to my MY98 Uk classic
The gear ratios are 3.454/1.947/1.336/0.972/0.738
Front Diff 3.900
Rear Diff 3.545

My understanding is that the boxes fitted to classic JDM Stis are far shorter geared - they have more of a punchy feel to them and have totally different ratios. V limited having the long 5th.

Also do Sti V3s have a TY754 box - I assume not. That it came in with the V4 Sti

Can someone confirm this please

Thanks
