I have a TD04 turbo on a 1997 Forester STB which holds 0.75 bar through the whole rev range. Are there any tuning routes I can go down with this model (will a Dawes unit work and what hole size is needed?) or would it be simpler to get hold of something a little larger off a WRX, with its corresponding ECU.
Have tried SEARCH but seems to be knackered still.

The same turbo is used in the impreza too - but with a differently mapped ecu I guess. My td-04 is holding 1.2 bar (using MBC) with a PPP ecu.

Your main concern should be how your ecu is fuelling - I'd say monitor AFR and knock and have a little play with a Dawes. But be careful, I don't know what other mechanical differences there are between these cars
