Short Shift Gear Selecta

Hi guys i bought a new Gear selecta for my wrx import classic 93 the one i bought was from a 99 uk classic but when i went to fit it mine was the opposite fitment are these different or am i being a donut.

no mate its the wrong one 96 onwards used a different linkage fitment, i got mine for my 94 wrx off ebay about 20 quid works quite well
