will a uk my98 g/box be ok in a jdm my93 wrx?
i have a jap import my93/4 wrx and my g/box is f**ked i have bought another box from a fellow scoobyneter but its out of a uk my98 car the part numbers are different on the side of the casing but not sure if they will be runing the same ratios or not??? any advice / help asap would be great

No mate, don't fit it unless you change the rear diff for a UK one as well. Otherwise the quickest way of converting the car to 2wd as the centre diff winds up and then gives up, so I have been told.
Apparently all the JDM boxes cross fit.
Have a look here for the part numbers you require.
